Which Boiler?

Finding the right part saves time and money. We have hundreds of models listed across a range of manufacturers and in many cases you will find the part you are looking for on our site.

However, If the appliance is not listed that does not necessarily mean we cannot supply the part. What it does mean is we have to identify the boiler and the best way to do this is with a G.C (Gas Council) number.

This number tells us exactly what boiler you have. You can find it on the data badge on the appliance. Eg: British Gas Code. 47-531-78. If you have the user instructions originally supplied with the appliance the model, size and G.C number can usually be found on the front cover.

If when you are emailing or phoning us it will save a lot of time if you have already found this number.

More appliances are being introduced sharing many common parts across a range of appliances.
One G.C. Number can cover a multiple of appliance types utilising part and one appliance G.C. Number.
The G.C. Number consists of seven digits set out as: 00-000-00.
The significance of the digits is as follows.

First two digits. 00-000-00

* The first digit specifies the main type of appliances.
* The second digit specifies the type of appliance within the type

Next three digits. 00-000-00

* The next three digits stand for the name of the manufacturer.

Last two digits 00-000-00

* The last two digits cover the model.
